Episode 899 - THE NEST & REYKJAVÍK PRIDE

Today on RÚV English Radio, a look ahead to Pride generally, and, in more detail, a new exhibition called The Nest.

The Nest is a corner of Reykjavik City Library at Grófin (https://borgarbokasafn.is/en/library/grofin-city-library) that hosts a collection of texts and media curated by users of the library. During Reykjavík Pride (https://hinsegindagar.is/en/), visitors to The Nest can to listen to 9 audio stories in which queer people share books, songs, poetry, films and theatre works that give them a sense of belonging.

Darren met two of the contributors - Rebecca Hidalgo and Sindri Sparkle Freyr.
