Viking World’s (https://vikingworld.is/) main attraction is hard to miss - the magnificent viking ship the Icelander (Íslendingur) which was sailed to New York in the year 2000 to commemorate Leifur Eiríksson’s journey to the New World a thousand years earlier. But you can also learn about Viking life in Iceland, and enjoy the views out into the bay at this magnificent location near the end of the Reykjanes Peninsula.
