Today on RÚV English Radio, it's time once again to preview Dark Music Days.

Dark Music Days (https://www.darkmusicdays.is/en/home-22/) is an Icelandic contemporary music festival held annually in Reykjavík. Held during some of the darkest days of winter, it provides the foremost platform for showcasing innovative and progressive contemporary music in Iceland.

It's been running since 1980, and this year's festival kicks off next week.

Darren was guided through the days by one of the curators, Þráinn Hjálmarsson.
