Today on RÚV English Radio, the cultural treasure at the heart of Akureyri.

The Flóra Culture House (https://www.floraflora.is/home-english) sits in the building Sigurhæðir, in the centre of Iceland's northern capital. It works with artists, designers, farmers and other creative minds, offering studio space. It also hosts events and cultural projects, and sells and shows artists' works and items.

It fully reopens for the summer season in May - Darren visited during off-season preparations to hear more, from manager and founder Kristín Þóra Kjartansdóttir.
