Episode 813 - THE HÚSAVÍK WHALE MUSEUM

Today, RÚV English Radio is back in the North Iceland town of Húsavík.

The Húsavík Whale Museum (https://www.hvalasafn.is/en/) has an extensive collection of exhibits, including 13 real whale skeletons, interactive displays, and presentations. The museum also provides insight into whale biology, behavior, conservation efforts, and the history of whaling in Iceland.

Darren spoke to the museum's Garðar Þröstur Einarsson to find out more.
