Iceland's beauty is often used as a backdrop, or even a character, in TV shows and films. But there is more to the story than simply pointing a camera at a geysir or a volcano. A thriving creative industry exists in the country, creating and telling new stories all the time.

Andri Ómarsson is CEO of Glassriver (https://www.glassriver.is/), whose series Cold Haven was selected for the 2026 Berlinale Series Market. He told Darren about the growing success of TV and film making in Iceland.
