Today on RÚV English Radio, a retrospective showing the astonishing work of Icelandic video artist, Steina.

The Icelandic artist Steina is internationally known as a pioneer in video and new media art, and is also a major influence on contemporary art in Iceland.

Steina: Playback (https://listasafnreykjavikur.is/en/exhibitions/steina-vasulka-2025-en) is the first major retrospective of Steina's work in Iceland, and shows across both the The National Gallery of Iceland and the Reykjavík Art Museum.

Darren spoke to co-curator Markús Þór Andrésson.
