Our new Icelandic music history show continues on The RÚV English Podcast service today.

Music journalist Lydia Athanasopoulou will join Darren to take a look and a listen to the history of Icelandic music, through a different genre each week.

In future weeks we will explore choral, pop, classical, folk and rímur, the "golden oldies" of the 50s and 60s, Icelandic indie, and much more. (And yes - Eurovision too!)
