The town's Örlygur Hnefill Örlygsson is a previous guest on RÚV English Radio, as owner of the Eurovision Song Contest Exhibition, and co-founder of Film Húsavík (https://filmhusavik.com/), making use of repurposed equipment from former TV channel N4.

He is never short of new ideas though, as Darren found out when he caught up with him again for a chat.
