Today, RÚV English Radio returns to a conversation from earlier this year, about the Nordic Women In Tech Awards 2023, which are now just a couple of weeks away.
The Nordic Women in Tech Awards (https://nordicwomenintechawards.com/) is an annual gala ceremony to celebrate the achievements of women in the industry and inspire diversity in tech.
The 2023 Awards will take place in Harpa, Reykjavík, on November 9th (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/nordic-women-in-tech-awards-2023-tickets-715885913037)
Of all the nominees from across the Nordic countries, ten are from Iceland.
Darren is joined by Valenttina Griffin, co-founder, and Ólöf Kristjánsdóttir, board member, of WomenTechIceland, to hear about those nominations, and the award ceremony itself.
Valenttina co-founded WomenTechIceland with Paula Gould, who previously guested with Darren when nominations opened earlier in the year.
WomenTechIceland is a non-profit organisation dedicated to encouraging equality in the tech industry.
