Episode 744 - AKUREYRI'S SISTER SELESTÍNA

Today on RÚV English Radio, the celebration of fifty years of a religious life, twenty-five of them in Iceland.

Sister Selestína is one of four Carmelites of the Divine Heart of Jesus currently living in Iceland, in a parish that stretches over 500 kilometres. Originally from Croatia, she passed through Brazil before finding her home here in Iceland, in Akureyri.

Darren spoke to her about her remarkable life, and her celebration of fifty years' service.
