Today, RÚV English Radio is in Reyðarfjörður.

Íslenska stríðsárasafnið (The Icelandic War Museum) (https://www.fjardabyggd.is/menning/sofn/islenska-stridsarasafnid) in Reyðarfjörður was built in 1995 with the aim of letting visitors travel back to the period of Iceland's wartime occupation.
