Episode 846 - YRKJA, AÐVENTKIRKJAN, REYKJAVÍK

On RÚV English Radio, the new women’s vocal ensemble, Yrkja, who perform at the Advent Church tomorrow.

Yrkja's first concert is at 8pm tomorrow, May 21, at the capital's Advent Church ((https://tix.is/en/event/21331/songhopurinn-yrkja-frumsyning).

Yrkja was founded last year as a sister ensemble to the male vocal group Kyrja, and is under the artistic direction of Sólveig Sigurðardóttir and Philip Barkhudarov.

Darren spoke to Sólveig and Philip about Yrkja, and the concert.
