Today on RÚV English Radio, the beauty that appears when the snow piles up.

Garðar Bachmann Þórðarson is a photographer who lives and works in Seyðisfjörður. He is exhibiting a series of images (https://skaftfell.is/exhibition/gardar-bachmann-thordarson-monuments/) of snowbanks that form during winter maintenance on roads in the area. They are temporary and constantly changing, and then further shaped by weather and human intervention.

Celia Harrison is the director of the Skaftfell Art Centre, and discussed the images with Darren.
