Today, RÚV English Radio is in Hvammstangi.
The KIDKA knitwear factory in Hvammstangi (https://kidka.com) was established in 1972 and is one of Iceland's largest wool factories. It uses only Icelandic sheep's wool, and makes and sells a variety of different knitwear items.
The ReCover range also makes use of new yarn from offcuts and leftover wool.
Darren went to Hvammstangi and met Beate Maria at the factory.
