Yesterday, a first plane of the Israeli airlines El Al landed in Keflavik.
Operated by El Al, Boeing 787 Dreamliner with Israeli tourists landed for the first time on the international airport in Keflavik. It is expected that this new operator will provide four more trips between Tel Aviv and Keflavik. Last one will take place on the 18th of August.
This landing marks the day when El Al joined a group of 20 airlines that will be operating in Keflavik this summer.
In the end of July another Israeli operator is expected to land in Iceland. On the 27th of July, airline Arkia will have its first of five trips to the island. The last planned trip is on the 31st of August.
