Performances within the festival included sets from múm, amiina, Skúli Sverrisson & Ólöf Arnalds, JFDR and dj flugvél og geimskip. Special original compositions were commissioned from some of the biggest and brightest Icelandic contemporary music names, and works performed from composers like María Huld Markan, Páll Ragnar Pálsson, Anna Thorvaldsdottir, Áskell Másson, Þurídur Jónsdóttir, Atli Ingólfsson and of course Daníel Bjarnason. The Schola Cantorum choir, from Reykjavík performed two very special shows.

Sigur Rós played three nights accompanied by The L.A Phil.
Bedroom Community came to the party with their Whale Watching Tour followed by Jóhann Jóhannsson performing music from his latest album Orphée.

There was even a specially cominssioned piece for the musical mouse, Maximus Musicus,  to introduce children to the wonderful world of Icelandic Music.

The festival truly had something for everyone.
